What are the credentials of the Workshop Instructor?

The Workshop has been personally developed and is taught by Lynn Homisak, PRT. Lynn has an extensive podiatric background that started in 1971 and has spent most of her 38 year career as a certified podiatric medical assistant/office manager in both east and west coast practices. She is owner of SOS Healthcare Management Solutions, podiatry's leading podiatric practice management consulting and educational company.

Lynn helped open the doors to assistant members of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and was the only assistant to serve on the Board of Trustees from 2001-2008, most recently as Vice President. She has held many executive positions in the American Society of Podiatric Medical Assistants and served on the APMA Physicians Recovery Network Committee for 8 years.

Lynn has a certificate in Human Resources Management from the Cornell University School of Business and previously received a teaching certificate in NJ after co-developing and teaching a formal introductory course for podiatric medical assistants.

She is a frequent contributor and regular columnist to podiatric publications, authoring many articles on staff and practice management. In February, 2010 she was appointed as a Consulting Editor for Podiatry Management Magazine. She lectures regularly at regional, state and national podiatric seminars nationwide to both assistants and doctors.

Lynn was recently voted into Podiatry Management's Hall of Fame and will be given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 APMA Meeting in Seattle.

What is the fee for these Workshops and what is included?
There are two tuition levels:

The tuition for one person from one office is $299.
A reduced rate of $249/pp is offered to each additional attendee from the same office.

Our program will provide each registrant with a comprehensive workbook that provides attendees documentation for everything that is being presented. This 100+ page workbook will not only be a valuable reference guide for the attendee, but will also become a tool for the practice for any new employee. A number of management/efficiency forms (discussed during the workshop) are also distributed.

For a limited time, each office will receive an illustrated x-ray manual, written by Joan Cox, PMAC. These manuals are no longer available to the public and are FREE- one to an office with registration.

A morning and afternoon break with refreshments will be included with your tuition as will a working lunch.

A personalized certificate is presented to each attendee who completes this program that can proudly be displayed in your office, recognizing their elevated knowledge, confidence and professionalism.
